Hi, I’m Carlivia (Carli)

My love for baking started early, I grew up in the kitchen making cakes with my mom to sell at local fundraising events. As I got older, baking took a back seat while I studied to become a registered nurse. Working as a pediatric nurse during the Covid-19 pandemic was challenging and exhausting, so like many others during that time, baking became my escape and my pastime.

When I started in 2020, all I had were six inch pans that were “loaned” to me by my mom after I moved out the year before. My first attempt was a small carrot cake. Looking back it was nothing special, but at the time it felt extravagant, and it was the moment I realized I had a real passion for cake making.

After taking orders from family and friends, and seeing the excitement on their faces from something I created, I knew I wanted to grow it into something bigger. That is when The Sweet Six was launched. Safe to say my mom still has not gotten those pans back.

I am a self taught baker who loves learning new techniques and trying fresh designs, so your cake feels personal, beautiful, and unforgettable.
